Store person with Fork Lift

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Storeman / Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while operating forklifts and using RF scanning equipment to maintain accurate inventory records.



Key Responsibilities



Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, move, and stack products.



Receive incoming goods and verify quantities against delivery documentation.



Pick and pack customer orders accurately using RF scanners.



Perform stock put-away and replenishment activities.



Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.



Prepare goods for dispatch and ensure orders are correctly labelled and documented.



Maintain accurate warehouse records through RF scanning systems and warehouse management software.



Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.



Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.



Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Skills and Experience



Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.



Current forklift licence/certification.



Proven experience operating counterbalance and/or reach forklifts.



Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).



Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.



Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.



Good communication and teamwork skills.



Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
